 Patrol Clash (Day)

This is the first fight in Tanghai we played, I have not played Spectre Ops for quite a while and my Son has never played before so we kept it simple.

A pair of Rebel patrols meet a PMC patrol who has been contracted to check a jungle trail and eliminate any threats in the area.

Tanghai Rebels (Militia)

The Rebels are the biggest problem in country, they are strongly alighned to western values and remember the days when the country was allied with France.

But Tanghai moved to a Socialist state, and then aligned itself with China, and the Rebels rose up to fight for a return to Democracy.

Stonewall International PMC (Professional)

A fairly new company, started by Arthur Stone, they will recruit from any nation, and members only need military experience and a clean record.

With the problems in Tanghai, they saw this as a great business oppotunity but found the the Wagner Group and Ion Services had already negotiated contracts.

Stonewall has been unable to secure any long term contracts but are taking on a number of short term contracts and missions.

Alpha Team

Battlefield

Turn 1

The PMCs scattered to each side of the trail, a member of Bravo Team spots the Rebel patrol leader and downs him with a well placed shot, the Rebel return fire tears up jungle foliage but causing no hits.

Turn 2

The Rebels take the initiative, the Patrol moves down the road while the Jungle Patrol push through the bamboo, they open up on Bravo Team suppressing them.

Bravo Team return fire, they kill two members of the rebel patrol and suppress them, they also suppress the Jungle Patrol by seriously wounding the patrol leader.

Turn 3

Stonewall regains the initiative, Alpha Team open up on the Jungle Patrol and guns them all down. Bravo Team open up on the Rebel patrol, they kill all but one who is pinned in the bushes by the side of the trail.

Turn 4

Bravo Team remain hunkered down in the foliage while Alpha Team split, on Operator with the SAW Gunner cover the trail while the two other operators start flanking round through the jungle.

Turn 5

Bravo Team finally leave cover and start to move tactically into the paddy fields, the flanking team from alpha race up on the cowering Rebel, the rebel opens up spraying fire, but the shots go wide.

Turn 6

The two Alpha Team members slammed into the last Rebel, they overpowered him quickly and take him as a prisoner.

The jungle patrol leader finally bled out, the paddy fields stained red.

Conclusion

Stonewall done really well! Not a single Operator was even hit and they killed eleven out of twelve Rebels and took the last one prisoner.

Great game, but the Rebels need more support to balance the game out.
